A trio exploring his legacy through the unique concept of “two tips” will take the stage at cafe FLYING TEAPOT on Sunday, December 21. Featuring Kazuya Suzuki on drums, Hideki Hashimoto on trumpet, and Shibahito Akano on saxophone. Sharpening their shared sense of breath and timing, the three create a night filled with tension and playfulness, where the contours of sound rise like the grain of tree bark. Ornette’s classic tunes and the raw impulses of free jazz transform into moments that can only exist here and now.
