Graduated from Toyo University. While a student at Toyo University, he started playing the saxophone in the big band of the club. After graduating, he was enrolled in "Tomohiko Sato and Sugar Friends" and "Hisao Sudo and New Downbeats". After that, he joined the Tokyo Disneyland Band in 1986. While enrolled, he was fascinated by Dixieland jazz and studied with clarinet virtuoso Masahiro Goto, and began playing clarinet in earnest. After that, he worked with "Akio Okamoto and the Gay Stars" before joining "Kenichi Sonoda and the Dixie Kings" in 1993.Currently, he participates in sessions such as Dixieland jazz, swing jazz, and studio work, mainly with the Dixie Kings. He has also participated in big band jazz as a member of "Hideki Shinozaki and the Sweet Fantasia Orchestra" and"Kenichi Tsunoda Big Band". He also appeared in his own band "Swingin' Buddies" at live houses. He is active in a wide range of fields. Participating bands Kenichi Sonoda and the Dixie Kings,Hiroki Kusudo and the Finest Jazzmen, Hiroki Kusudo and the Dixie Bombers,Yoshimi Fukasawa and Carolina Shout,Nakajima Preservation Society,Eiji Hanaoka, Swing Orchestra, Hideki Shinozaki and the Sweet Fantasia OrchestraKenichi Tsunoda Big BandSTOK MellowSaxophone Ensemble, etc. Lesson Instructor Yamaha Music Center Shibuya, etc. At Adirondack Cafe you will experience the jazz live in close up and will have a great experience in food, drinks and the atmosphere.
